Below you will find a collection of educational resources you can use to further understand the CBX software and related topics. These resources can be leveraged in your staff training.

The CU*Answers Education Team offers a range of courses, workshops, and open forum discussions about a variety of topics year-round.
Exercises for Success
The Education team has created manuals with training exercises for your staff to practice typical front-line staff activities in your CBX training environment. Incorporate these manuals in your staff training program!
Online Course Access
All online courses are available on the Internet and can be accessed via CBX by selecting the Network Links icon and selecting CU*Answers Online University. Click on the course you would like to take and follow the prompts. Once you complete a course, you will need to take the Assessment/Exam by clicking on the Assessment icon next to the Course selection.
Pre-Conversion Training
Along with the scheduled classroom training sessions, there are several online courses that are recommended/required for credit union staff to take during the core processor conversion to CBX.
CNV 100: Preparing for Your Conversion to CBX - This course was designed to give you an overview of the conversion process and the steps that will be taken to prepare for a successful conversion, including identifying teams at your CU, introducing you to the CU*Answers teams, setting pre-conversion training schedules, and coordinating vendors.
CNV 101: Leading Change: Conversion Preparation for CU Management - This Management Course reviews the psychology of change, preparing yourself and your staff as well as how we want to lead your team through this change.
CTM 100: Welcome to CBX - This course introduces the company CU*Answers and the software CBX to new users. There are three lessons, plus an exam. At the end of each lesson, there are a few review questions to reiterate the high points. We hope you find this course interactive and helpful in learning about CBX.
CTM 101: Navigating within CBX - This course will start to familiarize you with the screens within the core. There are also very important hints and tips on how to use the screens and fields, get Help, and enter data within CBX.
CTM 102: Rate Inquiry, Loan Quoter and Timeout Window - This course introduces a few special member service features available from any CBX screen: Rate Inquiry, Loan Quoter, and the CBX Timeout Window. These tools are intended to be used by all credit union employees in your day-to-day interactions with members.
CTM 200: Member Inquiry - The Member Inquiry Course will teach you how to access valuable information about members and their accounts. Inquiry is the primary research tool used by many different features in CBX.
CTM 201: Phone Operator - This course covers how to use CBX Phone Operator to serve credit union members. Sometimes referred to as “Phone Inquiry” or “Phone Op,” Phone Operator is a powerful tool for call center staff that handle member requests over the phone.
CTM 300: Opening Memberships and Accounts - This course will cover the basic steps for opening a new membership, adding joint owners and beneficiaries, and creating sub accounts including savings, checking, and certificates.
CTM 400: Teller Processing 1 - This is the first in a series of courses designed for tellers learning to use the core to process their daily transactions. This course will give you an overview of the teller screens and how they flow, how to open and close your teller drawer, and how to process the most common teller transactions.
CTM 401: Teller Processing 2 - This course provides a more advanced look at the core Teller Processing system and is intended as both a refresher of basic teller functions, and an introduction into additional tasks you can perform for members from within the teller screens.
CXT 100: Xpress Teller - This course is designed for tellers learning to use the core to process their daily transactions. This course will give you an overview of the teller screens and how they flow, how to open and close your teller drawer, and how to process the most common teller transactions.
CTM 900: e-Receipts and Photo ID Capture - This course covers electronic receipts and electronic signature capture.
CCS 100: Collections Basics - This course is the basis for using the core for your collection’s efforts. It covers the collection and each of the functions you will be able to perform. Among these are collection configurations, selecting accounts to work based on their status such as delinquent, over-line, and negative balance. You will also learn about collection cards as well as creating trackers and using them to work follow-ups.
CCS 101: Collections Advanced Daily Work - This course adds to knowledge gained during the Collections Basics class. During this course, you will learn more about speed sequences and tool options, different ways to sort the Work Collections listing, and frequently used options on the Work Collections listing. While not all tasks are performed daily, there are others that are periodic and important for collections personnel to know about and be able to use proficiently.
CLS 100: Lending Basics - This is the first in a series of courses designed to teach you how to put a loan on the system, from request to disbursement. If you have never used the lending features of the core, it is recommended that you start by taking these courses in order.
CLS 101: Lending 2: Creating and Disbursing Loans for Members and Non-Members - This course takes lending to the next level. You have already learned in CLS 100 to put a loan request on the system. In this course, you will book the loan and disburse it for both members and non-members.
CAB 100: General Ledger 1 - This course will introduce you to General Ledger and covers topics from configuration to daily balancing items.
CAB 200: Daily Share Draft Processing - This course will step you through the daily share draft processing steps, including working exception items, processing returns, posting fees, and much more.
CAB 201: Daily ACH - This course explains the basics of ACH transactions, how they differ from Payroll on the core system, as well as the process of posting and receiving files.
CAB 202: Daily Payroll Processing - This course will take you through the daily Payroll Processing steps, including member changes and distributions
CMS 100: Report Builder – Canned Query - This course will introduce you to the canned reports that are available, as well as the basics of creating your own report.
CMS 101: Report Builder – Basic Custom Query - This basic custom query class will take your query skills to the next level. Learn how to build a report using a single file and investigate the customizable options that are available.

Custom Training Edition (CTE)
